MEDICAL TEAM COMPLETES MISSION TO XI’AN
Eighty-five children had life changing cleft palate/lip surgery between 6th August and 16th. Thank you to those who went on the mission and those who supported the mission financially. The letter below describes the feelings of one parent.
Dear Honored Foreign Doctors and Friends:
Welcome to Xi’an. I am #81 bed baby’s father. I represent our family’s sincere thanks. Our son can get the surgical treatment, his blessing. We are peasants. Our knowledge is little. I have a lot to say but I don’t know where to start all in one.
I appreciate you. As long as I live. I will pray for you. I wish God will protect you because good people need peaceful life. And last, I have a little request? Please leave me some of your pictures. Is that OK? This is also my mother’s who lives far away from here. She called me several times asking me to take some of your pictures. She wants to see the happy angels who brought her grandson happiness. Thank you all again.
Yan Si Jie, Bed #81

YUE XIANGHUI (KING) RETURNS TO CHINA
King has been in the US for eighteen months having skin grafts for burns at the Shriner’s Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. His surgeries are not completed but he must return in order to prepare for the high school entrance examination required in China. He will live at the Neil Taylor Christian Care Center at Rongshui, Guangxi.
After he completes the preparation for his high school entrance examination and successfully passes it, he will return to the US for additional surgeries. He is returning to China with about seventy-five percent of his skin grafts completed. He is a very different boy from the boy who came to the US eighteen months ago thanks to the Shriner’s Hospital and those who have supported him during his stay in the US.
We want to express our sincere thanks to all who support the good works of the China Mission.
